We are pleased to announce that following the success of our 6 International Martial Arts events, our Federation is in the process of organizing the 1st International Aikido Event & the 7th Int’l Martial Arts Event (Seminars in Aikido & Tai Chi, Martial Arts demonstration & Aikido Self defense, as well as special seminars for beginners in safety awareness and basic defense skills for all), scheduled to take place at Arsinoe beach hotel, Limassol from 11th to 14th May 2011.

The first student in the U.K to start traditional Aikido training in 1960 under the world renown Japanese Aikido Sensei T K Chiba Shihan, 8th Dan Aikikai who emigrated to the U.K in 1960. Sensei George Stavrou, the first student of Chiba Sensei, soon became his assistant and helped him establish the first Aikido Dojo in the U.K. He has been instructing Aikido for the last 50 years.
