Dear athletes / parents,

We are pleased to inform you that on 2nd May 2012 the Academy will move to new privately owned facilities that are located in Pano Polemidia, Lapithos Street No.4, next to the old people’s home “Vasiliada”.

The new Academy is specifically designed following European specifications.

Our academy, “The Martial Arts Academy” is recognized by the Cyprus Sports Organization (CSO) and is a founding member of the “Cyprus Aikido Federation” who is registered with the CSO and is a member of the Cyprus Olympic Committee (COC).

The new facilities will be used by the National Aikido Team for training, many of whom are athletes of our Academy.

Σας ενημερώνουμε ότι από τις 2 Μαίου 2012 η Ακαδημία μας θα μετακομίσει στις νέες ιδιόκτητες εγκαταστάσεις που βρίσκονται στα Πάνο Πολεμίδια στην οδό Λαπήθου Αρ.4,δίπλα από το γεροκομείο «Βασιλιάδα»

Η Νέα Ακαδημία είναι ειδικά κατασκευασμένη με Ευρωπαϊκές Προδιαγραφές.

Η Ακαδημίας μας «Ακαδημία Πολεμικών Τεχνών» είναι αναγνωρισμένη από το ΚΟΑ και είναι το ιδρυτικό Μέλος Τής «Κυπριακής Ομοσπονδίας Aikido» η οποία είναι Εγκεγραμμένη στο ΚΟΑ Κυπριακό οργανισμό Αθλητισμού και Μέλος της ΚΟΕ Κυπριακής Ολυμπιακής Επιτροπής.

Στις Νέες εγκαταστάσεις μας θα προπονείται επίσης η Εθνική Ομάδα Aikido, στην οποία Αρκετοί από τους Αθλητές της Ακαδημίας μας είναι Μέλη.

Мы рады сообщить вам о том, что со 2 -го мая 2012 г. все занятия нашей Академии будут проводится в ее новом здании по адресу: Pano Polemidia, Lapithou street, 4.
Новое здание Академии находится рядом с домом престарелых “Vasiliada”.

Проект и строительство новой Академии осуществлен с полным соблюдением европейских требований по технике безопасности, в ее строительстве были использованы лучшие современные строительные материалы.

Наша Академия, “The Martial Arts Academy” признана Cyprus Sports Organization (CSO) и является основателем и действующим членом “Cyprus Aikido Federation”, зарегистрированным в CSO, также Академия является членом Олимпийского Комитета Кипра (Cyprus Olympic Committee (COC)).
В новом здании Академии будет организован тренировочный процесс для Кипрской Национальной Сборной по Айкидо, многие атлеты которой являются действующими членами нашей Академии.

We are pleased to announce that following the success of our 6 International Martial Arts events, our Federation is in the process of organizing the 1st International Aikido Event & the 7th Int’l Martial Arts Event (Seminars in Aikido & Tai Chi, Martial Arts demonstration & Aikido Self defense, as well as special seminars for beginners in safety awareness and basic defense skills for all), scheduled to take place at Arsinoe beach hotel, Limassol from 11th to 14th May 2011.

The seminars will be taught by four distinguished chief instructors:

The first student in the U.K to start traditional Aikido training in 1960 under the world renown Japanese Aikido Sensei T K Chiba Shihan, 8th Dan Aikikai who emigrated to the U.K in 1960. Sensei George Stavrou, the first student of Chiba Sensei, soon became his assistant and helped him establish the first Aikido Dojo in the U.K. He has been instructing Aikido for the last 50 years.

We are pleased to announce that following the success of our 5 International Martial Arts events, our Academy is in the process of organizing the 6th Int’l Martial Arts Event, open style Kata Championship and Seminars in Aikido, Self defense, Tai Chi as well as special seminars for beginners in safety awareness and basic defense skills for all, scheduled to take place at Pano Polemidia Community Center and the Martial Arts Academy, Limassol from 6th to 8th May 2010.

The Event program will include the disciplines of Aikido, self-defense, Tai Chi, safety awareness and basic defense skills for all.

Event Schedule

6th & 7th May 2010: Aikido & Self defense Seminars for beginners and advanced. Registration is required. & Kata championship Registration is required.

8th May 2010: Demonstrations by Masters and athletes from various countries who will display their abilities in Aikido, self-defense, Tai Chi, Jujitsu & Karate Demonstrations Entrance €10. The Event will be followed by the Award Ceremony.
